Georgia’s primary election will take place on May 24, and a record number of voters have already cast their ballots thanks to early voting.
According to the Georgia Secretary of State’s office, more than 565,000 Georgia residents have voted early in the state primaries as of May 19, a 189% increase from the same time in the early voting period in the 2020 primary election.
On the primary ballot, voters will decide between candidates for governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, attorney general, and the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, plus several other important local offices and issues.
