Get in the holiday spirit by volunteering this season

It’s the season of giving, and there are plenty of opportunities around the city for Atlantans to donate time, resources and more to neighbors in need. Consider these organizations and opportunities to spread cheer this holiday season:

• Purchase toys for children in need or volunteer to package donated gifts with the Clark’s Christmas Kids program.

• Help families in need pick out Christmas gifts at Another Chance of Atlanta’s annual Toys for Tots giveaway.

• Donate toys or volunteer at the South Atlanta Christmas Store.

• Help feed families and provide gifts and entertainment to Atlanta families at the annual Helping Hands Dinner.
