Walking into The Training Room early and seeing what I was about to do was a mistake. Terrified, I immediately cancelled the class I had the next day, knowing I’d be sore.
Although I’ve never taken CrossFit, this strength and conditioning workout was close to what I imagine a CrossFit workout to be. We did deadlifts, kettlebells, tricep dips and more.
Despite my fears at the beginning of class, I absolutely loved it. It’s different from any class I’ve taken, and the instructor, Lindsay, was incredibly motivating and helpful. As a complete newbie to weightlifting, I felt right at home.
