If you haven’t visited The Beacon yet, you’re truly missing out. Just west of Grant Park, the new lifestyle destination is the place to be with restaurants, breweries and more popping up left and right.
One of our favorite spots is Baker Dude. Naturally, it excels in all things sugary (try the cupcakes and thank us later), but they’re truly more than just a bakery.
Stop in for breakfast, lunch and everything in between for a fix. Some of our favorites include the M&M blondies, baked mac & cheese and any of the artisan sandwiches prepared on freshly baked baguettes.
