When Tom Murphy was looking for an operating partner for his new restaurant, Morningside Kitchen (now open), Tom Harvey was the obvious choice.

Harvey, a former executive chef at Murphy’s, is excited to be back in Atlanta and working together again. “It was a natural fit and, like so many things in life, good timing with people who really trust each other,” Harvey says.

Opened last month, Morningside Kitchen’s daily dinner menu features charcoal rotisserie chicken, wood-fire grilled steaks, meats and fish accompanied by seasonal vegetables and sides, and small plates to share. A weekend brunch starts next month.
