Sandbox VR continues to show rivals how intense, full-body VR combat is done

by The 100 Companies

As soon as I heard chainsaw-toting zombie clowns giggling in the distance, I knew Sandbox VR’s new Deadwood PHOBIA game wasn’t for the faint-hearted.

Within minutes, my physically fit friends and I were sweating, shouting commands and spraying endless bullets from our haptic-feedback weapons just to keep the ravenous undead at bay. As a gamer of 25 years, I was in love.

I previously lauded Sandbox VR for offering an immersive, full-body VR experience that allowed – nay, required – you to dodge, duck, dip and dive. Small, iterative upgrades have further refined that experience, and I can’t wait to go back.
