January can be a tough month for parents. Christmas is over, school is back and it isn’t always warm enough for outdoor play time.
How do you keep kids happily occupied without giving in to endless screen time? I’m not a mom yet, but thankfully I have some foolproof ideas up my sleeves (thanks to my niece and nephew).
First, don’t underestimate good old-fashioned coloring. Break out crayons, give them an idea and watch them play. Second, invest in a few new games that the whole family will enjoy. Third, read a book together, and act out scenes in character.
