Raise a glass, plant a seed: Atlanta gears up for a lively, local Earth Day

by katem

Atlanta is going green this Earth Day, April 22, with celebrations across the city.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden will host a family-friendly morning with Latin music, seed planting and nature-themed crafts. Georgia Tech will lead a sustainability panel, while the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market will host an Earth Day Fest on April 19. Craft beer lovers can toast the planet with ReBREWable Energy, a special Earth Day brew now on tap at five Gwinnett breweries, raising funds for Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful.

However you choose to celebrate, Earth Day in Atlanta offers a variety of meaningful ways to support the planet.
