Though 40 years have passed since the Save the Fox Campaign, the theatre is still giving thanks to its community of saviors. On March 14, the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation and Fox Theatre are hosting “A Legendary Encore: An All-Access Gala Celebration of the Fox” to honor the original Board of Trustees of Atlanta Landmarks.
The tickets, which range from $100-$200, include a live band, full bar, small plates and a behind-the-scenes tour of the ornate 87-year-old movie palace.
The proceeds will be split between the Georgia Trust and the Fox Theatre Institute, which works to revitalize community theaters.
