Abattoir, Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison’s celebrated Southern meatery in Atlanta’s Westside Provisions District (WSPD), will close after a seven-year run March 28.
Ford Fry’s Rocket Farm Restaurants announced its acquisition of the Abattoir space through Vantage Realty Partners and will announce a new concept later this year.
Hearing about Abattoir’s departure gave me pause. I thought the Westside restaurant scene was growing by leaps and bounds? It actually is. The WSPD alone has 12 eateries, including Bacchanalia, which started it all, and Fry’s JCT Kitchen, with three more slated to open in 2015. Atlanta continues to say GO WEST!
