March is Women’s History Month, a time to honor the achievements of women past and present. Atlanta, rich in its own legacy of influential women and home to trailblazing figures like Coretta Scott King and Stacey Abrams, offers a variety of ways to commemorate the occasion.
On March 15, the Auburn Avenue Research Library will host a special program celebrating women’s history. The Children’s Museum of Atlanta is highlighting the work and accomplishments of women in various fields. Throughout the month, explore landmarks such as The King Center, Xernona Clayton Plaza and Spelman College to honor the city’s influential women.
