Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is getting two sister restaurants – Golden Eagle and Muchacho – both set to open this fall and created by Ladybird owner, Michael Lennox.
The Memorial Drive restaurants, housed in a rail depot, will share a patio, which will open directly onto the BeltLine Eastside Trail. Muchahco, the smaller of the two spaces, is a nod to ‘70s-era Venice Beach, featuring the bright colors, counter service and casual dining you would find at a beach hangout.
Golden Eagle will be a buttoned-down, retro tavern with a moody interior, art deco decor, and no-nonsense, throwback dishes.
