West End

Established in 1835, the historic West End neighborhood in southwest Atlanta has been experiencing a revitalization, thanks in part to its mile-long stretch of the Atlanta BeltLine. Families and first-time homebuyers looking to live intown are drawn to its tree-lined streets and historic Craftsman bungalows, Victorian and Queen Anne-style homes. Neighborhood events include holiday parties, porch parties and an annual home tour.

Named after a fashionable theater district in London, West End is a popular spot for artists. Attractions include The Hammonds House Museum, The Wren’s Nest and The Shrine of the Black Madonna Cultural Center.
