While neighbors are demanding involvement in the redevelopment plan for the current Braves downtown site, the future home to Atlanta’s baseball team continues to score with more leasing activity.
Highwoods Properties and Seven Oaks Company have already begun constructing a 12-story tower in the Cumberland sub-market, minutes from SunTrust Park. The new office building – Riverwood 200 – will open in 2017, a little over a decade after Seven Oaks and its partners purchased Riverwood 100, just south of the mall.
Since Seven Oaks purchased Riverwood 100, it has consistently leased at 90 percent, while Riverwood 200 has already signed two tenants.
