Election day is quickly approaching and Georgians are eagerly getting votes in early.
Early in-person voting began this week, with record-breaking turnouts from the start, resulting in long lines and wait times, and continues through Oct. 30.
While absentee (mail-in) ballots can be requested through Oct. 30, those planning on this route for voting should get to it ASAP. Completed ballots must be received by 7PM on election night and with a surge in requests, many have reported waiting two weeks or more before getting theirs.
Remember, black or blue pen only, and sign and date the security envelope before returning.
