Georgia early voting smashing records

by The 100 Companies

Early voting in Georgia kicked off on Tuesday, Oct. 15, with a historic surge.

More than 300,000 residents cast ballots on the first day, more than double the initial day totals in the last presidential election and surpassing all early voting days in 2022. The pace showed little sign of slowing as another 281,902 cast their votes the following day, and the early voting count crossed the one-million-mark milestone just before 12PM on Friday, Oct. 18.

Despite disruptions from Hurricane Helene, the Georgia Secretary of State office has said absentee ballots were sent out on schedule. Early voting runs through Friday, Nov. 1.
