Mental Health Awareness Month has been observed each May since 1949, but after the past two years, it’s more important than ever. While many realized the importance of taking care of their mental health during the pandemic and made lifestyle changes, many are still suffering.
Mental health issues can include anxiety, depression, panic attacks, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, paranoia, phobias, and much more. And while there is no single cause, most all can benefit from simple lifestyle changes like getting enough sleep, eating healthy, staying active, getting outdoors, and balancing how much you work and take personal time.
