Atlanta landmarks go teal for Alzheimer’s awareness

by The 100 Companies

On Nov. 1, several iconic Atlanta landmarks will light up teal to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s disease as part of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s (AFA) Light the World in Teal program. This year marks the campaign’s 11th anniversary.

Notable sites like 191 Peachtree Tower, Georgia International Plaza, the King and Queen Towers and Truist Park will join over 1,300 landmarks globally to mark the start of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Teal, the AFA’s official color, symbolizes support for the nearly 7 million Americans affected by the disease.
