Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and as families across the country make plans to visit relatives, host dinner parties or celebrate at home with housemates, the CDC offers guidelines for a low-risk holiday this year.
Circumstances will be different for every family, but the CDC suggests that avoiding travel, limiting large amounts of alcohol consumption, enjoying dinner with your immediate household, and virtually celebrating with your family, are the safest ways to go.
If social distancing and masks are required, they note that hosting a small dinner outdoors with those in your local community will be a moderate risk.
