March was National Nutrition Month, but who’s to say we shouldn’t be healthy year-round? Here are some tips to help you stay on course.
First, make sure to eat a healthy breakfast – sugary cereals or pastries are not your friend, but whole grains, proteins and fruits are all great options. Second, be careful to watch portion sizes (always opt for a small over a medium or large).
Over time, we have become much more sedentary as a country overall, so keeping an active lifestyle will also keep your heart and muscles healthy. Finally, remember to drink lots of water.
