I recently had the pleasure of attending Atlanta’s annual Fermentation Festival. Held this year at Cultured South in the new Lee + White development, the festival gathers vendors from across Georgia to display their goods. From kombucha and sourdough breads to probiotic skin care, the variety of nutrient-rich food and beverages was endless.
While the samples were tasty, it was really special to see people who enjoy the craft of fermentation, often sped up these days thanks to innovative technology. In a world of instant gratification (and little patience), it’s refreshing to see people carrying on traditions that take time.
