Flywheel Sports offers the best of both worlds with a mix of cycling and barre classes.
Traditional Flywheel spin classes are in a stadium-style room with the lights turned off and music turned up. Instructors are encouraging and explain clearly what RPMs to aim for and what resistance to set your bike on. An arm workout is also incorporated (and is definitely the hardest part).
FlyBarre is barre-focused and equally difficult. The class was so exhausting I stopped several times, but the experience was empowering and instructors are wonderful.
This is a gym I would strongly consider joining. Grade: A+.
