In partnership with Makers’ Mark, Black Restaurant Week is hosting the national Power of the Palate cocktail competition, in search of the nation’s top Black craft bartender from 16 select cities. Not surprisingly, one contestant, Jarrett Holborough, is from right here in Atlanta.
Contestants will compete in a live virtual bracket-style competition each Monday at 6PM EST through Sept. 28 on Facebook Live. They will create bourbon cocktails with different ingredients and themes and the virtual audience and judges will rate their drink presentation, understanding flavor profiles and overall personality.
The winner will take home a grand prize of $5,000.
