The deep pain of the Falcons’ Super Bowl loss isn’t going to fade for us anytime soon and SweetWater Brewing’s newest beer isn’t making it any easier. To keep its end of a bargain with Samuel Adams, Sweetwater produced 100 Patriots-themed beers last week. The Patriot Extra Pale Ale name and artwork was courtesy of the Boston brewery.
The only bright spot is SweetWater was able to slip in a quip on the can about the infamous DeflateGate.
The 100 cans were available to purchase directly from SweetWater Brewery. They sold out quickly – most likely to some displaced Northerners.
