The Alliance Theatre recently announced its first spring production, “WORKING: A Musical,” to run April 22–June 6. Based on the novel by Studs Terkel, “WORKING” is a look at American workers through various walks of life.

The monologues in Alliance Theatre’s production are based on interviews conducted with Atlantans who have impacted the city through their work this year. A new featured song was written by Atlantan Brandon Bush, known for performing and recording with John Mayer, Train and his brother Kristian Bush, Grammy Award-winning songwriter from Sugarland. The song is inspired by interviews with local community organizers and activists.
