Delta ready to begin easing pandemic safety measures

by The 100 Companies

Due to the pandemic, last year airlines came to a near halt, with strict safety measures implemented on the limited flights permitted. Middle seats were kept vacant, snack and beverage service stopped and face masks required. A year later and among growing vaccination numbers, Delta Air Lines is ready to loosen restrictions.

The hometown airline recently announced middle seats will return to booking inventory beginning May 1. Additionally, snacks, as well as canned beverages and cocktails, will return to domestic flights beginning April 14. Followed, on select flights, by hot food options in early June and fresh boxed meals in early July.
