Atlanta’s Tech Village beginnings

What started in Buckhead as a dream of supporting business entrepreneurs in the tech space is now the fourth largest tech hub in the United States – also known as Tech Village.

It all began in 2002 when David Cummings was unable to find a startup scene to join after moving to Atlanta. In 2012, the entrepreneur sold his marketing firm and then purchased what is now Tech Village with the purpose of supporting startups.

The Village is home to co-working space, mentorship opportunities, programs for minorities to accelerate their businesses and a community of support and inspiration for tech entrepreneurs.
