Sevananda: Decades of Healthy Eating

by

Before Whole Foods and mainstream gluten-free options, Sevananda Natural Foods Market was planting seeds in Atlanta’s Little Five Points neighborhood.

Since 1974, Sevananda has operated as an independent, consumer-owned co-op with strong commitments to support local farming, provide sustainable products and maintain accountability for its environmental impact. The market holds itself to a high standard – they coordinate community outreach programs and events that promote healthy eating and feature local vendors. Sevananda is also proudly cooperatively owned.

Thinking of joining in? A co-op membership provides in-store savings, discounted cooking classes and other perks worth checking out.
