Atlanta events to beat boredom

There’s plenty to do Thanksgiving Day and throughout the weekend. Here’s what’s on our radar:

• Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon, 5K, Mile & Dash – Hosted by  Atlanta Track Club, this holiday tradition is fun for all ages. 

•  Thanksgiving Brunch at Waldorf Astoria – For the first time, the Waldorf Astoria will host a delicious brunch service, with 10:30AM and 1PM seatings.

•  Chinese Lantern Festival – Explore interactive lanterns at Centennial Olympic Park. 

• ” Hip Hop Nutcracker” – Contemporary dance spectacle on Nov. 29, set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless music.

•  See a movie – Both highly anticipated, ” Frozen II” and ” A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” recently hit theaters.
