Hosting Thanksgiving for the first time can be a daunting task, but there are some tricks to help get through the day.
First, create a schedule to stay on track that includes days leading up to the main event. Take care of shopping a few days before, allowing time to return for any forgotten items. The day before, begin prepping dishes that can be made ahead, set the table and decorate.
Everything doesn’t have to be homemade. It’s perfectly fine to buy some prepared items. Also, now isn’t the time to experiment with new recipes, stick to what you know.
