When I was growing up, my dad had a “green thumb.” Our garden was the envy of neighbors and squirrels alike. My thumb isn’t as green, but I make up for it by eating at farm-to-table restaurants.
The WonderFarm gala is Saturday, June 6 at Ponce City Market benefitting the sustainability efforts of Community Farmers Markets and the arts outreach of WonderRoot.
Atlanta chefs, including Sean Brock, will combine forces with artists Kevin Byrd and Allie Bashuk, farmer Joe Reynolds and mixologists like Jerry Slater to help build bridges between the farming and arts communities. Tickets are $250 per person.
