I’m relatively new to Uber, an app that connects drivers to riders, and I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences.
I do have a big problem with Uber’s ethics, as detailed in this article. From the tracking to the disputes to the surge pricing, they could use etiquette training. But when weighing the helpfulness of seeing your ride, having detailed information on your driver and not having to carry cash, for me convenience outweighs those issues.
So whether you’ve had a few too many after a night out or want to avoid a crowded MARTA train, Uber is a solid option.
