Charity Chase

Nice guys start last.

Meb Keflezighi, the 2014 Boston Marathon winner, will run the AJC Peachtree Road Race July 4, but don’t expect him to be leading the pack during the 6.2-mile race. He will start last and hopes to pass 22,500 runners to benefit Kilometer Kids, a youth running program run by Atlanta Track Club. Meb’s goal is to raise $75,000 as the featured runner in the inaugural Charity Chase.

While visiting, Meb may also be spotted at the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo July 2 or riding an ElliptiGo in a bike race at Piedmont Park July 3.
