We all know the feeling – itchy throat, runny nose, nonstop sneezing. Is it a cold? Nope. It’s primetime in Georgia’s dreaded pollen season. In a study by The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, Atlanta comes in No. 79 of 100 cities as the most challenging places to live with spring allergies.
Although not in the top 10, Atlantans struggle significantly with allergies each pollen season. This could be because, in addition to the priming effect, which is the first wave of pollen, the South also experiences additional waves of pollen.
