As I sit here on “vacation” in St. George Island, bad weather is hitting as tropical storm Sally has turned into a hurricane.
What was to be days of glorious sun, pool drinking, beach walking, ocean swimming, shell collecting has become storm watching, cooking, nesting and TV show binging. Kind of what I’ve been doing in Atlanta, with a “better” view.
First disappointed, I began reflecting on my hurricane of health, work and personal over the last two years. While no longer in the eye, I’m moving through the outer bands and can finally see the calm after the storm.
