BISSELL Pet Foundation is offering shelter pets across the country a little bit of hope this holiday season with its “Empty the Shelters” campaign.
Through Dec. 20, the program encourages people to save a life by adopting or fostering a furry friend in need. The foundation is sponsoring reduced adoption fees for $25 or less per dog or cat at over 235 shelters across 41 states, including Georgia.
Local rescue organizations including Furkids, Inc., PAWS Atlanta, Planned Pethood of Georgia and several animal shelters are participating in the campaign. Find a participating location near you and help alleviate overcrowded shelters.
