Fall plant sale brings native blooms to Decatur’s Woodlands Garden

by The 100 Companies

Woodlands Garden will host its annual Fall Plant Sale Sept. 13-14 in Decatur, offering gardeners of all levels a chance to shop for native plants while supporting the nonprofit’s mission of preserving greenspace. Shoppers can browse a diverse selection of Piedmont natives, with many propagated onsite, including pollinator-friendly flowers, shrubs, perennials and groundcovers.

Online reservations are encouraged, with walk-ins welcome from 12-2PM both days. Educational events leading up to the sale include a Native Edible Plant Walk and a Plant Walk & Talk. All proceeds from the sale will benefit Woodlands Garden, an eight-acre urban sanctuary open daily at no charge.
