The newest exhibition from Fernbank Museum debuts this weekend, and it’s one not to be missed. Open Oct. 9 through Jan. 2, 2022, “Antarctic Dinosaurs” allows guests to embark on an experience like no other where they will be transported back 200 million years ago to one of the most isolated environments on Earth.
The immersive experience uncovers never-before-seen dinosaur fossils from four Antarctic dinosaur species, including the 25-foot long Cryolophosaurus, and allows access to tools that will help understand how paleontologists extracted these fossils from Antarctica. There’s also a companion movie, “Dinosaurs of Antarctica,” which is a separate experience.
