Atlanta’s DIY scene emerges

Since the closing of many Broad Street galleries and venues in downtown Atlanta, artists have searched for a new home to curate their art. Many have found it in The Bakery.

Founded by creative director and Cabbagetown native Willow Goldstein in 2017, The Bakery is a multipurpose arts complex in Southwest Atlanta. With a focus on inclusivity and welcoming artists of all experience levels and backgrounds, it’s a space for the community to thrive in experimentation and collaboration.

Since its opening, Atlanta’s do-it-yourself art scene has emerged. Support Atlanta’s DIY arts, music and culture scene by attending The Bakery’s programs.
