Instagram is one of the most popular social media apps, with one billion active monthly users. They love its common updates and willingness to evolve. One such update was the addition of Instagram TV (IGTV), launched in June 2018.
IGTV allows users to post videos of up to an hour, compared to Instagram’s limit of one minute. It instantly plays when the app is opened and is organized by a person’s profile or channel. Content is also organized by categories like For You, Following, Popular and Continue Watching.
With the addition of IGTV, Instagram is boosted into an even bigger platform.
