It may come as a shock to men, but women want more in a car than to wash it sensously while wearing a teeny bikini.
For the first time last year, Consumer Reports separated the results on its annual owner satisfaction survey by gender. The results showed that while men focus on power (big surprise!), women focus on reliability, safety and fuel-efficiency.
Hybrids are more popular with women than men as were certain models of pickup trucks. Most notably, the women’s list of favorite cars pretty much mirrors the top scorers from Consumer Reports. Not so much for men.
