Comfortable living in Atlanta comes at high cost, according to new study

A new study from GOBankingRates.com found that Atlantans need an income of roughly $114,000 to live comfortably as homeowners in the city. The study analyzed the 50 largest cities in America by factors like total population, total households, average household incomes, average home value and more to determine the annual income required to live comfortably in each of those cities.

The study also found that the average monthly cost of living for Atlanta homeowners is around $4,769. For renters, the annual income required to live comfortably is an estimated $95,458, with an average monthly cost of living of $3,977.
