Atlanta chefs, restaurants named as 2025 James Beard semifinalists

The James Beard Foundation recently announced its 2025 semifinalists, highlighting several Atlanta-area culinary talents.

Kimball House in Decatur is nominated for Outstanding Restaurant, while Casa Balam, also in Decatur, is up for Best New Restaurant. Aria in Buckhead is recognized for Outstanding Hospitality, and Lucian Books & Wine, also in Buckhead, is a semifinalist for Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program.

In the Best Chef: Southeast category, nominees include Rod Lassiter and Parnass Savang of Talat Market in Summerhill, Bruce Logue of BoccaLupo in Inman Park, Brian So of Spring in Marietta and Fu Li Zhang of LanZhou Ramen in Doraville.
