MOCA GA launches program for high school-level aspiring artists

by The 100 Companies

This year, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA) is introducing a new program, The Young Artists Project (YAP), aiming to educate high school students about contemporary art and professional artistry.

YAP offers four classes led by collegiate-level artists, covering topics like collaborative paper quilts, drawing memories and dreams, creating wall banners and collage experimentation. The program will end with an exhibition at MOCA GA featuring works created by the program’s students.

YAP is available for 20 students, $200 per student for all four classes and exhibition day. Five program scholarships are also available. Registration is open here.
