Westside BeltLine Trail now has a solar-powered bar

by The 100 Companies

On Saturday, May 20, a super unique, eco-friendly bar opened alongside the Westside Atlanta BeltLine Trail called Solar Bar. Constructed from a repurposed shipping container designed by Rickman Architecture + Design, this innovative drinking experience is powered by 10 advanced solar panels and offers cocktails, beer and frozen drinks.

BeltLine-goers can thank Lee and White neighbors Monday Night Brewing and ASW Distillery for this earth-friendly yet boozy experience. The solar panels can capture up to 4,000 watts per hour, which is then stored in a lithium phosphate battery to continue power through the evening – creating the ideal sustainable weekend go-to.
