Chick-fil-A testing new plant-forward menu item

by The 100 Companies

Chick-fil-A may not be changing its slogan from “Eat Mor Chikin” to “Eat Mor Veggies,” but that’s the sentiment behind its newest offering.

Now available in three markets (Denver, Colo.; Charleston, S.C. and North Carolina’s Greensboro-Triad region), the Atlanta-based restaurant is testing its first plant-forward entrée: the Chick-fil-A Cauliflower Sandwich.

Eerily similar to the Original Chicken Sandwich, the new sandwich is made using the same process but with a tender filet from a whole cauliflower. The entrée is breaded in Chick-fil-A’s signature seasoning, pressure-cooked in 100% refined peanut oil and served on a toasted buttery bun with two pickles.
