Come February, there’s a new bar in town. From the restaurateur behind the ultra-popular Slutty Vegan concept, Bar Vegan will open on Ponce City Market’s second floor, replacing The Mercury which closed in 2019.
The bar’s menu will offer new takes on Slutty Vegan favorites, including sandwiches, salads, cauliflower wings and more. It will open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.
According to a press release, the concept will also introduce Atlanta to “bar theatre” which includes “exciting and exotic visual presentations of food and drink.” Expect elaborate drinks served in fire extinguishers, gas cans, ferris wheels or bank safes.
