Atlanta Botanical Gardens is known for its innovative installations as well as its annual traditions like Garden Lights. One of the lesser-known events is Scarecrows in the Garden which features creative scarecrows throughout the gardens handcrafted by businesses, schools and individuals.
While the opportunity to enter their own scarecrow has passed, guests can still enjoy dozens of creations displayed from Oct. 1 through Nov. 1. As a bonus, ABG is honoring Oktoberfest with Fest-of-Ale every Tuesday through Sunday in October featuring specialty ales that can be sipped while taking in the autumn garden sights.
