Georgia high schools awarded prestigious Rachael Ray ProStart Grow Grant

by The 100 Companies

In a triumph for culinary education, Meadowcreek and Berkmar High Schools were honored with the coveted Rachael Ray ProStart Grow Grant, a prestigious award administered by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.

Meadowcreek will use the funds for field trips, industry seminars and competition prep, broadening students’ horizons beyond the classroom. At Berkmar, the grant will provide chef uniforms, easing financial burdens and promoting inclusivity.

Both schools recently won state titles at the Georgia ProStart Invitational, further cementing their status as leaders in culinary education. More than funding, the grant is an investment in the future of Georgia’s culinary talent.
