Balzer Theater reopens with Theatrical Outfit’s ‘Tiny Beautiful Things’

by The 100 Companies

After a renovation that includes a new lobby bar and seating area, the Balzer Theater at Herren’s reopens with a production of “Tiny Beautiful Things.”

The play is based on a book by the same name by Cheryl Strayed, which is a collection of advice columns she wrote under the pseudonym Dear Sugar. After I read it I was so moved by her wisdom, compassion and beautiful writing, I immediately bought copies for several people.

The book was adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos, an Academy Award nominee for “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.” The play runs March 29-April 23.
